  T here are different opinions about the origin of Banjara Society.                               A ccording to some people this society belongs to the " RAJPUTH People", it is also called as "Gor , Lambadi , the Tribe(Jungle-People),Nayak(Hero),Terrible also known to be "Banjara tribe". In India, Banjara society is mainly found in Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Marwa region in northern India and widely found in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka states in Southern India.   B anjara Samaj mainly performs Commercial activities.
