BANJARA ORIGIN

  There are different opinions about the origin of Banjara Society.                          

    According to some people this society belongs to the "RAJPUTH People", it is also called as "Gor , Lambadi , the Tribe(Jungle-People),Nayak(Hero),Terrible also known to be "Banjara tribe".

In India, Banjara society is mainly found in Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Marwa region in northern India and widely found in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka states in Southern India.

 Banjara Samaj mainly performs Commercial activities. It is an important contribution in Indian Development.

  Community-B in Banjara Samaj ,has a large number of "Oxcarts and Nomadic communities. Banjara people travel from province to province to do Business.

Bringing salt(through Oxcarts),also they perform some Ornament Trading to perform their lifestyle better than others. In this way this Community people play a major role in many other trading activities

 The place where the Banjara communities lives is known as "THANDA".

Thanda is an independent and Unique system that preserves it's historical and independent culture heritage.

In 19CE,Banjara society opposed British .Therefore the British Colonel authorities brought  them under the judiciary of the 18+1 "Criminal Act". Hence the business have united India through their Trading and activities.

 Hence, Indian society has historically been known as "Merchant" Society.
